Chris Nemitz, the ‘Fessah” got his start at 3 years old by sneaking downstairs to his basement and banging on the Baldwin piano that now resides in his own house As years passed he copped songs like Baba O’Reilly and began piecing together his own song ideas. As a result, his parents enrolled him at the New England Conservatory where he studied piano for several years. At age twelve he received a hand-me-down guitar from his older brother and that was the end of his piano lessons. Since then, Chris has played with several different bands including the Candles, Bruce Mandaro Band, Another Planet, Close to Home, Zagnutt and now Sun Jones. Chris also has mastered the technical side of the business and runs a small business doing live sound and recording - Professor’s Audio Design. In the band he sings, writes songs, plays guitars and sometimes keyboards. With an edge and a messy step, the ‘Fessah fits Sun Jones as well as Sun Jones fits him.
